1. Jay-Z‘s father died the same night the rapper was celebrating the opening of his first ’40/40′ Club in 2003.

2. Jesse ‘Jagz’ Abaga has a 9-year old daughter with M.I‘s Loopy Records artiste – Ruby. They had her in 2004. Jesse was 20 at the time.

3. Timi Dakolo was raised by his grandmother, Ateni Dakolo in Port Hacourt. He was born in Accra, Ghana to a Nigerian (Bayelsa) father, David Dakolo and a Ghanaian mother, Norah who died when the singer was 13.

4. Femi Kuti has been nominated three times at the Grammys – 2003, 2010, 2012 all in the World Music category but did not win any.
