The National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has refused to
pay Mr. Babatunde Omidiran a.k.a Baba Suwe the sum of N25 million as
decided by an High court, and have taken the matter to an appeal court.
The original judgement was made Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Lagos
High Court, who termed the prolonged detention of the popular actor by
the NDLEA, without being charged to court, was “unjustifiable”.
The NDLEA took the case to an appeal court on Thursday, which is yet to give its verdict.
